Lou Ford

Lou Jean Dillingham Ford, age 93, Lone Oak, Kentucky passed away at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Morningside of Paducah. Lou Jean was a long time member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church. Lou Jean was a graduate of Lowes High School and Draughon’s Business College. She worked for many years at Paducah Orthopedic Clinic before retiring from the Lone Oak Water District of Paducah Water. Lou Jean enjoyed her church, sewing, reading and traveling with her husband.

Survivors include two daughters: Valerie Ford (James) Fitch of Round Mountain, NV and Celia Ford (Harve) Smith of Lone Oak, KY; two brothers: Jimmy Dillingham, Mayfield, KY and Don Ed (Glenda) Dillingham, Mt. Juliet, TN; sister-in-law: Jeanie Dillingham, Linwood, MI; five grandchildren: Lt. Commander Jamie Fitch, Portsmouth, VA, Tracy (Markisan) Naso, Chicago, Il, Brandon (Cheyenne) Fitch, Round Mountain, NV, Aaron (Lauren) Smith, Lexington, KY and Jana Cooper, Dyersburg, TN; four great-grandchildren: Zaiden Cooper, Logan O’Mara, Josephine Hogwood and Andrew Smith; several nieces and nephews.

Preceding in death was her husband, WB Ford; parents, Joseph Felix Dillingham and Sammie Harrell Dillingham; one brother, Joseph Harrell Dillingham.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Woodlawn Memorial Garden Chapel with Rev. Bob Martin officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
