Martha L. Carrigan, 81, of Paducah died at 7:10 p.m. Friday at her home.
She was of the Methodist faith and a homemaker.
Surviving are one daughter, Eloise Rainey of Metropolis, Ill.; four sons, Michael Carrigan of Palmersville, Tenn., Patrick Carrigan of Carlisle County, Jerry Carrigan of Marshall County and Todd Carrigan of Maryland; one sister, Ruth Rice of Loveland, Colo.; one brother, Harry Paul Sherman of LaFayette, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Carrigan; one daughter, Judy Beth Carrigan Kaletch; one son, Calvin Bruce Carrigan; two sisters; and three brothers. Her parents were Fred R. Sherman and Bertha O'Connell Sherman.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with the Rev. F. Wayne Carter officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
