Martha Puckett

Martha Katterjohn Puckett, 86, died at 3:55 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2009, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Martha was a graduate of Augusta Tilghman High School and a member of Lone Oak United Methodist Church. She was a retired self-employed Beautician. Martha enjoyed the company of her friends, the flowers in her yard and being able to attend church.
Services will be conducted on Monday, January 19, 2009, at 1 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Ben Boone officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, January 18, 2009, from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include one daughter, Susan Carla Draffen and husband, Johnnie, of Paducah; one sister, Frances K. Schmidt of Paducah; two grandchildren, Alesha Dreblow and husband, Scott, and Jeremiah Lamkin, both of Paducah; two nieces, Teresa Blackburn and husband Kenneth, and Carolyn Roach, both of Paducah; six great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 11 stepgreat-grandchildren; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Carl B. Puckett; her parents, Fredrick Katterjohn and Lucinda "Lucy" Vincent Katterjohn; and two brothers.
