Mary Sovern

Mary Cinderella "Cindy" Sovern, 88, of Aledo, Ill., formerly of Paducah, went home to be with her Lord Friday, February 4, 2011.
Born June 28, 1922, to Stephen Perriman and Effie Ann (Perkins) Wilkins, she was the last of her siblings. Mrs. Sovern was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Paducah.
She is survived by her son, Charles L. Hammonds and wife Nancy of Paducah; daughter, Charlotte F. Munson and husband David of New Boston, Ill.; four grandchildren, Charles Morgan Hammonds and wife Cynthia of North Richland Hills, Texas, Stephen T. Hammonds and wife Susanne of Hopkinsville, Ky., Shelia F. Terrill of Seaton, Ill., and Greta Ann McCaw of New Boston, Ill.; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2011, at Keeling Family Funeral Home at 2410 Jackson Street in Paducah, Ky., with the Rev Larry Starnes officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo was in charge of out-of-town arrangements.
