Services for Rebecca "Becky" Cooper Thompson, 89, of Louisville, formerly of Lone Oak, will be at 11 a.m. today at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Revs. Merle Thomas and John Smithmier officiating. Burial will be at Woodawn Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Thompson died Tuesday night at Baptist East Hospital.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker, a member of Massac United Methodist Church and a graduate of Heath High School.
Survivors include two daughters, Jill Thompson Shoulta of Louisville and Nancy Thompson Bloomfield of Beaumont, Texas; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Woodrow "Woody" Thompson; one sister; and two brothers. Her parents were James Meton Cooper and Pearl Matlock Cooper.
Visitation was 4 until 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Massac United Methodist Church, c/o Phyllis Moore, 3603 Clinton Rd., Paducah KY 42001.
