Maurine Scott

Maurine Sue Scott, age 88, of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Sue was born in Paducah on January 5, 1930 to the late William Brooks Pease and Rubye Miller Pease. Mrs. Scott was of the Cumberland Presbyterian faith. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Patrick Turner and also for The Family Dental Clinic and was a loving parent to her dog, Johann the Dachshund.

She is survived by three nieces, Karen Painter and Sharon Cargill, both of Russellville and Betty Carolyn Scott of Paducah; five great nieces, Tonya Painter, Shannon Thompson, Jackie Perdue, Katie Villanueva and Dianna Douglas; two great nephews, Jon Cargill and Bradley Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley E. Scott; one nephew, Larry Davis, and her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Doug Hughes officiating. Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
