Nita Bauer

Nita Louise Searles Bauer, 68, of Paducah, died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 4:12 am at Baptist Health-Paducah after a long struggle with cancer.
Nita worked at USEC for over twenty five years. She enjoyed golfing, especially at her home course Rolling Hills Country Club. She and her family enjoyed lake time at Kentucky Dam Marina where their boat is kept. Being a grandmother to Jake was one of her biggest enjoyments in life.
She is survived by her husband of forty nine years, Steve Bauer; son, John Bauer and wife Lori of Paducah; grandson, Jake Bauer; mother, Evelyn Kidd Searles of Metropolis; sister, Nancy Hayes of Metropolis; and many, many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Clyde Searles.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, April 19th at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Monday evening from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
