Phyllis Jean Hamilton

Phyllis Cooper Hamilton, 71, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 5:09 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Baptist Health Paducah. She was born on December 15, 1951 in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Jewell Cooper and Pauline Sires Cooper. Phyllis worked in the food service industry and for the Kentucky State Highway Department. She was a member of the Reidland United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women’s Society. Phyllis was past president and secretary for the Reidland Lions Club.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Hamilton; son, Ben Hamilton and wife, Tiffany, of Paducah, Kentucky; granddaughter, Abby Hamilton of Paducah, Kentucky; sister, Sandra Paskvan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brother, Harold Cooper of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Several nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by four brothers and her parents.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Katie Minnis officaiting.

There will be no visitation.
