Ray Harold Lynn
Ray Harold Lynn, 81, of Paducah passed away Saturday, October 26, 2013, at 3:25 p.m. at Lourdes hospital.
Mr. Lynn was a member of Lone Oak United Methodist Church and was retired from the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad, where he was a locomotive engineer for thirty-five years. He was a 1951 graduate of Lone Oak High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict.
Surviving are his wife of sixty-one years, Virginia Mae (Sigler) Lynn; one daughter, Terrie Lynn Croxall and husband Mark of Nashville, TN.; one son, James Mark Lynn and wife Tammie of Paducah, KY.; one brother, Jerry W. Lynn of Paducah, KY.; two granddaughters, Taylor Katherine Lynn of Lexington, KY., and Emilie Morgan Jones of Paducah, KY.; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mr. Lynn in death were his parents, James R. Lynn Sr. & Mayme Grace Melton Lynn; and one brother, James Richard Lynn Jr.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Bud Russell officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2013, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
