Leslie "Scrooge" Fulkerson, 73, of Paducah, Ky., passed away at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Western Baptist Hospital.
He was a retired Pipefitter from local # 184. Leslie served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Jean Taylor Fulkerson of Paducah, Ky.; a daughter, Johnna Gay Gaines of Paducah, Ky.; three sons, Dane Fulkerson of California, Brandon (Kathleen) Cockrel of Livingston County, Ky., and Derek (Peni) Cockrel of West Paducah, Ky.; a sister, Oneida Stewart of Florida; grandchildren Talon Zane Sullivan Cockrel, Megan Sullivan, Spencer Sullivan, Megan Cockrel, Hunter Cockrel, Laken Steele, twin boys Cole and Clint Gaines; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Randall and Brenda Holmes of Paducah, Ky., and several nieces and nephews.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Minnie Vines Fulkerson; five sisters; and two brothers.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. James Downey officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at the Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
