Robert Rayburn Fuller, 85, passed away on April 25, 2009, at the home of his daughter in Farmington, Utah.
He is survived by his eternal companion and wife, Jo Ann I. Fuller; three children, Bobbie Jacobson (Robert Jacobson), Teressa Fuller and Roger Fuller; six grandchildren, Carrie Jacobson, James Jacobson, Bryan Jacobson, Roger Fuller Jr., Amber Manning, and Ashley Priest; six great-grandchildren, Lizzie, Josh, Abby, Destiny, Desirea, and Danika,; and a nephew who is loved like a son, David Fuller (Katherine).
He was born in 1924 to Ruby and Rite Fuller in Paducah, Ky. Robert and Jo Ann have been married for 58 years. He is a loving husband, a wonderful father, and a great example of honesty, integrity, faith, and hard work. His family and his faith have always been the most important things in his life. He joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1959. He served his God and his fellow man as a Branch President, Bishop, in the District Presidency, and as a Temple worker in both St. Louis and Nashville. Robert lived the Christian principles that he taught and believed in.
He served his country in WWII. He worked for 31 years at Union Carbide/Martin Marietta. Prior to that, he also worked at the Illinois Central Railroad.
Funeral services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 320 Birch St., Paducah, Ky., on Friday, May 1, 2009. Viewing will be at the church, prior to the funeral service, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
