Robert McNeil

HARDIN - Robert Wayne "Bob" McNeil, 71, of Hardin, KY., passed away at 1:38 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013, at Baptist Health Paducah. He was born in Detroit, Mich.

Bob was a retired Conductor for the Illinois Central Railroad. He was a member of the Aurora Baptist Church. He was a former board member of the Owner's Association of Pirates Cove, Inc., and was a former Firefighter with the Melber Community Volunteer Fire Department. Bob loved the Lord, his family, his Scottish Terriers, Paddy and Molly, and his Labrador Retriever, Cassie.

Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue Farmer McNeil; daughters, Debra McNeil Wallis and husband Allen of Houston, TX., and Angela McNeil Cobb and husband Tommy of Porter, OK.; sons, John E. Miller of Memphis, TN., and Robert M. McNeil of Boaz, KY.; grandchildren, Richard Miller, Derrick Miller, E. Erin Wallis, Bethany Wallis Firey, Brandon McNeil, Brittiany McNeil Douglas, Aaron Warford, Natali Warford Ramsey, James McNeil and Alexis McNeil; great grandchildren, Kloee Ramsey, Constance McNeil, Russ Ramsey and Linlee Miller.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Wayne McNeil and a granddaughter, Angela Marie Warford. His parents were Herbert Wayne McNeil and Edith Jones McNeil.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 28, 2013, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Dick and Rev. Larry Starnes officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 28, 2013, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
