Ronald Stonecipher

Ronald Lee Stonecipher, 74, of Paducah, died Tuesday at 9:17 pm at Baptist Health Paducah.

Ron was born in Iuka, Illinois on April 29, 1939. He was a founding member and managing partner of Western Rivers Insurance Agency until his retirement. Ron was a member of Rotary Club, Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce, McCracken County Homebuilder's Association, and Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authority Board and former member of Gideons International. An avid golfer, Ron was a member of Country Club of Paducah.

A member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church for over forty years, he was formerly Chairman of the Deacons and taught Sunday School.

Ron is survived by his beloved family, wife Jackie Kincade Stonecipher; children, Debbie King and husband Jim of Marietta, Ga, Tammy Mitchell of Paducah, Julie Mollette and husband Jim of Murray, and Tim Stonecipher of Paducah; step children, Eve Dukes and husband Rob of Bowling Green, KY and Jason Armstrong and wife Morgan of Greenville, Ky; a sister, Pat Woolford and husband Jerry of Schaumburg, IL; 14 grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn Bell Stonecipher.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday at Lone Oak First Baptist Church with Dr. Dan Summerlin and Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11am Friday at the church.

Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
