Thelma Futrell

Thelma Irene Futrell, 76, of Paducah, KY passed away at 2:53 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Baptist Health of Paducah. She was born in Chicago, IL. Thelma was a retired Nurse's Aide for Lourdes Hospital. She was a member of Heartland Worship Center. Thelma loved cooking and baking for her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Miles Nichols and husband Dale of Paducah, KY; sons, Ronnie Howard and wife Sherry of Paducah, KY and Billy Roy Howard of Graterford, PA ;step-daughter, Sharon Mulvey of Eldorado, IL; step sons, David Miles of Aurora, CO, Rick Futrell of Paducah, KY and Dwain Futrell of Paducah, KY; sisters, Maxine Simpson of Irvington, IL, Velma White of Decatur, IL, Lorene Patterson of Centralia, IL, Darlene Parks of Centralia, IL, Pauline Matheny of Decatur, IL, and Josephine Walters of Cedar Rapids, IA; brothers, Jim Fletcher of Iuka, IL, Bill Fletcher of Centralia, IL and Roy Fletcher of Kell, IL; grandchildren, Crystal Rimmer and husband Ken of Louisville, KY, Candace Melloy and husband Derek of Paducah, KY and Eric Howard of Paducah, KY; expecting one great grandchild; 25 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Futrell and one sister, Angeline Moulder. Her parents were Charles J. Fletcher and Lillias Pinkerton Fletcher.

Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with the Rev. Nathan Joyce officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
