Vallie Lewis

Vallie P. Lewis, 65, of Paducah passed away at 4:07 a.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Gerri Bennett of Paducah and Sherry Wittington of Louisiana; one son, Kyle Sadler of Paducah; two sisters, Tina Hart and Shirley Collins, both of Alabama; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. "Bill" Lewis; one son, Lester Lewis; two sisters and four brothers. Her parents were Almon and Emma Pearl Fields Weaver.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lewis will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Mike Moynahan officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service.
