Virginia Kissel

March 4, 1920 — May 4, 2015

Graveside services for Virginia Grimes Kissel, 95, will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah. Her pastor, Elder Jerry Asberry of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah will officiate. Mrs. Kissel died at 9:54 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2015, surrounded by family.

She is survived by three children, Susan B. (J. L.) Houser of Boaz, Carol S. (Jim) Ballard of Kevil, and James R. (Cheryl) Scott, II of Shenandoah, Texas; four grandchildren, Jason T. Snow of New York, New York, Ginny L. Snow of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Deanna B. Aycock of Kevil, and James R. Scott, III of Kevil; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, James H. Kissel, Emmett E. Clark, Sr. and James R. Scott, Sr.; two brothers, James E. Grimes and Billy J. Grimes; and her parents, Floyd and Ola (Tyree) Grimes.

The family will be forever grateful to Deanna Aycock and the Lourdes Hospice Team for the loving, compassionate care of our Mother and Grandmother.
