Wanda Souder

Wanda Lee Finch Souder, 75, of Paducah, died Friday at Rivers Bend Retirement Community in Kuttawa.

A native of Leachville, Arkansas, Wanda was born April 23, 1938 to the late John Raymond Finch and Faye Childress Finch Newman. She retired from Western Rivers Insurance, Inc. Wanda was an avid bowler, participating in a bowling league at Cardinal Lanes for several years. She enjoyed flower gardening, dancing, sewing and painting.

She is survived by four children, daughter, Patty Souder Grimm and husband Dale of Paducah; sons, Rodney Souder and wife Pam of Paducah, Ricky Souder and wife Tammy of Paducah, and Bobby Souder and wife Teri of Winder, GA; a sister, Barbara Retzer of Aurora, CO; brother, John Raymond Finch of Florence, AL; seven grandchildren, Ashley Grimm, Jessie Grimm Meiser, Jessica Souder McCoy, Heather Souder, Paige Souder, Sydney Souder and Nathan Souder; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob Huebschmann, Jace McCoy, Elijah Grimm, and Ella Meiser.

She was proceeded in death by her father, John Raymond Finch; mother and step-father, Faye and Jim Newman.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday at Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Dr. Gregory Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at noon Sunday at the funeral home.
