Waylin Ryder Grace, age 21a��2, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013, at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville after a courageous battle with stage IV neuroblastoma.

He was born May 5, 2010, to Corey Grace and Cassandra Johnson. He was christened at St. John's Catholic Church and also attended Woodlawn Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He loved all kinds of cars, trucks and firetrucks. But his favorite toy was Mario. He had to have his stuffed Mario everywhere he went and his sippy cup and security blanket.

In his 21a��2 short years, he has made a gigantic impact on many individuals. The Team Waylin Prayer page has over 12,307 likes and 13,923 people talking about this site.

He is survived by his parents, Corey Grace and Cassandra Johnson of Boaz; one sister, Maria Katherine Grace of Draffenville; his maternal grandfather, Duane Cotrel; his maternal great-grandmother, Judy Wyatt; his paternal grandfather, Timothy Grace, and his Godparents, Gilea and John Artis of Paducah.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Wendy Johnson and Kathy Grace.

Visitation for Waylin Ryder Grace will be Tuesday, February 5, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at First Baptist Church of La Center. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church of La Center with Father Thomas and Todd Belt officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.
