Mr. Wayne L. Wilton, age 87, of Mayfield passed away on Friday, September 08, 2017 at Heritage Manor Healthcare in Mayfield, KY.
He was a member of High Point Baptist Church, a retired 30 year employee of the U.S. Post Office and an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Wilton is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virgie Wilton; two sons, David (Sandy) Wilton of La Verne, CA and Danny (Mary) Wilton of Rialto, CA; one sister, Katherine Wilton Watson of East Liverpool, OH; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Sonny Wilton; and his parents, Clarence and Alice Parsons Wilton.
Graveside services for Mr. Wayne L. Wilton will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Mayfield Memory Garden Mausoleum. Rev. Darrick Holoman will officiate. Military graveside rites will be conducted by American Legion Post # 26. Entombment will follow.
Visitation will be 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
