Wayne Lee “Gov” Wallace, 67, of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at his residence.

He was born October 18, 1951 in Paducah to the late Phillip Leon Wallace and Martha Nell Leidecker Wallace. Wayne was a member of Labors Union 1214 and enjoyed volunteering at Salvation Army. He was of the Baptist faith.

Wayne is survived by one son, Joshua Daniel Wallace; one sister, Linda Shelton and husband, Darrell Wayne, of Paducah; one brother, Gene Wallace and wife, Kay, of Sharpe; his close companion, Maggie the Maltipoo, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by one brother, Phillip Wallace, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held on Monday, August 5, 2019.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
