W.H. Fristoe

Mr. Sonny Fristoe, 81, of the Hickory Community passed away Friday January 13, 2017 at The Baptist Health of Paducah. He was the owner of Fristoe's Grocery and Restaurant; former Texaco Distributor; Farmer; Former basketball player for P.J.C. Mr. Fristoe is survived by; two sons Joseph Fristoe of Benton Ky and Chris (Angie) Fristoe of Murray KY; one sister Dorothy Dupree of Boaz KY; three grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister Jeanette Chandler and his parents Farris and Amy Fristoe. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00AM Tuesday January 17, 2017 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield KY. Entombment will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mako Nesler, Jared Donaldson, Steve Mason, Travis Frick, Steve Dupree, and Lori Dupree will serve as pallbearers. Buck Cecil, Joe Stewart, Buddy Strong, Adam Frick and Ben McIntosh will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 3-8PM Monday January 16, 2017 at the funeral home.
