William Alfred Bryan, loving husband, father and grandfather, 76, of Paducah, formerly of Murray, passed away at 6:58 p.m. Friday, September, 19, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Bryan was a retired machinist for the railroad shop. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannette Dowdy Bryan; four daughters, Sherry Lynn Smallwood of West Virginia, Lynnette Marie Baines and husband Greg, of Athens, Tenn., Varina Sue Baker and husband Kerry of Parsons, Tenn., and Monica Renee Davis and husband Joshua of Athens, Tenn.; one son, Michael Todd Bryan of Paducah; two sisters, Georgia English of Paducah and Judy Wilkey of Paducah; one brother, Walton Hale Bryan of Paducah; 13 grandchildren, Frederick, Victoria, Timothy, Rebecca, William Taylor, Jordan, Elijah, Hunter, Hannah, Gavin, Zach, Brett and Allie B.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jetta McKenzie; and his parents, George Lewis Bryan and Cozy Vesta Elkins Bryan.
Funeral Services for Mr. Bryan will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September, 22, 2014, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Altrogge officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for Mr. Bryan will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September, 21, 2014, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner and Orr Funeral Home.
