WILLIAM PAYNE

William J. Payne, 54, of Henderson, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at home.

He was born in Paducah, KY on January 20, 1968 to the late James and Addie (Shadrick) Payne.

William (Willy) loved his animals and had plenty within his lifetime. He enjoyed working around his house and on his lawn mowers. Willy loved his family and especially enjoyed spoiling the children in his life.

In addition to his parents, Willy was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn J. (Payne) Wilson and Barbara (Payne) Turner.

He is survived by his sister, Norma Long; nieces, Miranda Hoskins (Ethan Hoskins), Michelle Sandefur, and Amanda Pruiett (Matthew); nephews, Dustin Sandefur and Casey Sandefur; cousins, Easter Loman and Betty Kurtz (Wayne), Patrick Sandefur; and great nieces and nephews, Miracle, Hadleigh, Lyrica, Andre, Amaya, Brexley, Liam, Preston, and Zoey; great grandchildren, Aria and Saphfira.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 21 at Tomblinson Funeral Home with Jon Lambert officiating.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday, October 21 from 9 a.m. until service time.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Gardens Cemetery in Paducah, KY.
